So I've Been Busy.

I haven't blogged for AGES!!! Seriously!
I'm soo busy and stressed out. I have a lots tests coming my way.
It's really a wonder I'm still alive right now.
But that doesn't mean I'll stop writing.
NO WAY!

Uhm...Please pray for me that I pass my college entrance exams.

What else to say?!?
Oh, I'm happy that the club I'm in is growing.
I'm happy that I made it this far.
I'm happy that I'm still breathing.
I'm happy that I'm still writing.

But still, I've been and still am busy.
Logging off, KGDar.
(Actually, I have a new pen name. It's Kathryn "KC" Chace)

Thank you, _______, for the Poem.

I was looking through old stuff when I found the poem my best friend wrote for me a year ago. I smiled as I read it again and wanted to post her poem online because she deserves it and she was the only one who saw me.
The one who really understood me.

(September 06, 2010)
"I Build Walls"
by: Flower (Let's just stick with that for the meantime)

I build walls:
Walls that protect,
Walls that shield,
Walls that say I shall not yield
Or reveal
Who I am or how I feel.

I build walls:
Walls that hide,
Walls that cover what's inside,
Walls that stare or smile or look away,
Silent lies,
Walls that even block my eyes
From the tears I might have cried.

I build walls:
Walls that never let me
Truly touch
Those I love so very much.
Walls that need to fall!
Walls meant to be fortresses
Are prisons after all.

Thank you for that poem, if she ever found this site.
I'm glad that she's still one of my best friends until now.

I Guess I'm a Senior Now.

The title says it all.
I'm a SENIOR now.
In high school, of course.

Time DOES fly fast.
Yesterday, it seemed like I was just a freshman, scared that I was alone without a friend (which in fact is true and already in the past).
Now, I'm a senior, trying to maintain the great academical grades I had when I was a junior.
I also have college application and entrance exams to take.
But I feel like I'm TAKING ON the whole world.

*sigh*
I wonder if I close my eyes and open it, will I already be graduating in college?
It's just a thought.

I just had my first two days.
It wasn't what I expected and I'm not telling you if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
Let's just say it's neutral.

*Sigh*...Just 5 More Days and 6 Nights Before...

Good bye, my everyday use of the laptop.
Good bye, my comfy covers in the morning.
Good bye, my free time.
Good bye, everything I've enjoyed during Summer VACATION.

In 5 more days and 6 nights, all my good byes will be in reality.

That means I'll be saying hello to...
Early morning wake-ups.
Calculus.
Heavy books.
Homeworks.
Limited free time.
Early to bed ritual.

Why is it that I have less to say GOOD BYE to and more to say HELLO to?
Symbolically speaking, why is it that I have more nightmares than fantasies?

Don't you agree?

*sigh*
My brother's first day back in school is a day earlier than me but all he's doing is wrestling with my baby bro.
Brothers.
It figures.

So, Today's Snack Menu is "Daring Feast"!

So, right now, you're wondering why it's called "Daring Feast".
Read to find out.
But I warn you. You might be a bit grossed out with what I'm DARING to eat.

Let's begin with afternoon snack!
I had two biscuits in my hand. Three spreads before me.
1.) Tuna Spread.
2.) Orange Marmalade
3.) Crunchy Peanut Butter

Guess which I combined?

...

Still guessing? Take your time.

...

If you guessed tuna and peanut butter, good guessing.
And I know you're fully or a bit disgusted upon finding out. Let's just hope it's more on the second though.
But my main problem was...it didn't taste as I expected.
It tasted tuna and a bit crunchy.
I guess I should've added more on the peanut butter.
Too late.
That was during afternoon snack time!

Let's move a wee bit forward to almost midnight snack time!
I ate a "Lugaw Isaw".
In English it's a porridge with an animal-which-I-don't-know's intestines on it.
YUCK!
Yup. That word is now on your mind.
Can't blame you. I felt that way before I even ate it.
Anyway, it tasted a bit soft and melted into my mouth like butter.
Not super delicious or out of this world delicious.
JUST delicious.

If you ever go to Philippines, try it.
If you dare, of course.
Anyway, stay tuned! =)

The Ironic Similarities of "Love?!?" & "Hate?!?"

Yes, fellow bloggers.
This is our topic for today.
Or for tonight. (I am actually typing with the time nearing to midnight)

Anyway, back to our conversation.
The Ironic SIMILARITIES of "LOVE" & "HATE".
(The three words which are capitalized are meant to be emphasized.)

Some of you may not think of those two words similar. After all, you'll be saying that "Love" is spelled as l-o-v-e and "Hate" is spelled as h-a-t-e. You may also say in your defense that the two have different meanings that contradict each other.
Well, you can still think or say that.
Let me just point out a few other things about the two words.

Let's begin.
ONE! Both of the two words have one syllable.

TWO! They also contain four letters each.
I know what you're thinking, but don't judge yet.
Or I might quote Matthew 7:1 to you. (Check that verse out!)

THREE! People tend to easily believe "I love you" or "I hate you" once someone says it to them.
Am I right? Or not?
Talk to me, people.

FOUR! Has the tendency to give people the feeling of butterflies in their stomachs.

FIVE! Only certain people we know can say this to us.

SIX! (this is the last) Both have the letter 'e' at the very end.

Well, that's the end. Thank you for reading until the end.
If you AGREE with me, thank you.
If you DON'T, this is just something I thought of while staring at my sister's laptop.

Oh, if you're not a Christian and don't care about the verse Matthew 7:1, I'll quote it to you instead.

~Judge not, that you not be judged~
     Matthew 7:1

A "Black" Incident

Anyway, this morning, I guarantee, my mother was a BIT strange.
I'll start from the very beginning.

Well, it all BEGAN when I had finished preparing for our outing to the mall today. I walked to my parent's bedroom where my mother was so she could see my outfit and either APPROVE it or REJECT it. Always the two actions.

I was wearing a black fitted t-shirt that my grandma bought for me (she has an awesome taste in fashion). Also my loose, light blue jeans. No footwear yet except for my slippers. I went in the room and saw my uncle (mother's youngest and only brother), who was visiting for the day along with his five year old son, talking to my turning-eleven-this-September-2011 brother.

The three of them were just fooling around.

My uncle complimented me.

And then, my mom went out of the bathroom.
My brother and his son went down so he followed.
I walked a bit closer to my mother, letting her see what I was wearing.

~This is a translated to English conversation~
Mother: Ugh! Wearing black when it's summer! It's so hot!
Me: You told me to change into a tee.

*Mother goes to a chair and gets the souvenir t-shirt my father bought me*
*She hands it to me*

Mother: Just wear this.

*I look at the t-shirt and then back at her. I had my jaw close to dropping*
Why? The t-shirt is BLACK.

Me: Mom! This t-shirt is black!

*She walks to the bathroom, either ignoring me or did not hear me.*
THE END.
AMEN.

Weird right?
I replaced my black shirt for the BLACK one she gave me and went down to tell the three guys who were in the kitchen about this incident.

Uncle laughs.
My brother chuckles.
His son stares at me because he is just five and doesn't understand my point.

I hope you understand or you're slow.
*sigh*
Currently wondering if mother is stressed out.

Please Give Me Your One Minute (Literally)

Ok, I'm very serious about the title.
If you happen to be reading this right now, give me a minute.
Approximately, 60 seconds and 120 milliseconds.
 *bow*

Let's start the timer now.
There is an awesome book made by a friend of mine and you just HAVE to READ it.
It's totally amazing.

The title of the book is...
"Dear Chris, Since When Did You Start Loving Me?"
It even has an awesome blog as well as book trailer.

I'll give you all the links to this amazing story.
+Blog of the Author: http://zoeyryans.blogspot.com

Please, read it and if you can, pick it.
You won't be sorry, I can guarantee that along with how amazing the book is.

Thank you for the minute. Or two.
*applause*

3 Reasons Why You Just Have to Love God

You saw the title right.
If you read it out loud, well, you heard it right.

People, our topic for today is "3 Reasons Why You Just Have to Love God".
*crowd is excited*

Well, Number One!
1.) He does not judge you no matter how bad the situation is. He doesn't judge you even behind your back.

~In short, He doesn't judge you at all~
Why? Because He ACCEPTS you no matter your reputation or personality.

Second, Numero Dos!
2.) You can talk to Him anytime or anywhere. Be it in a closet or under the bed. Anytime, anywhere.

~In short, He has time for you~
Why? Because, you're SPECIAL in His eyes.

Lastly and to conclude my session, fellow bloggers and blog readers, Numbah Three!
3.)If you have anything you're guilty of doing, any so horrible thing that you want to be relieved of, He's there, already forgiven you for that guilty doing or soo horrible thing. As long as you believe in Him.

~In short, He knows what you did and still forgave you.~
Why? Because He LOVES you just the way you are, even if you think you did something unforgivable.

Well, Class dismissed!
Thank you for your time and eyes.
You know what I mean.
*Swift exit as crowd gives a round of applause*

Six Impossible Things To Count in Reality

"Alice in Wonderland" is totally awesome.
*crowd murmurs in excitement*

I've watched it for like 3-4 times. Watched it again earlier.
What do you think about it?
*crowd begins talking and thinking*

I absolute adore Mad Hatter (played by Johnny Depp).

In fact, I'm trying to figure out...
"Why is a raven like a writing desk?" (If you know the answer, please do tell me or else I might be stuck in my lifetime thinking about it)

Anyway, the Six Impossible Things Alice Counts Before Breakfast: (!st two pics are not right)
1.) There's a potion that can make you shrink. (Pishsolver Potion)
2.) A cake that can make you shrink. (Upelkuchen Cake)
3.) Animals can talk.
4.) Cats can disappear.
5.) There's a place called 'Wonderland'.
6.) I can slay the Jabberwocky.

*sigh*
If only I could count it in real life and know it's really real.
Am I even making sense?
*bow*

Read Me, If You Can...

Ok, I LOVE to write.
*bow*
In fact, Writing is a MUST and OBSESSION of mine.

"KGDar" is my pen name. If you want to know my real name, tell me yours and I'll tell mine. I play fair.
I'm very cautious so I don't really feel comfortable posting my real name. I like the feeling of security.

!0 Random Things U Should Know About Me:
1.) I'm a Christian and I'm proud of it. Even if I have to shout it to the world, I will.
2.) I have a very dry humor. Only one or two of my friends know about it.
3.) I'm very moody. I could be saying "pineapples" in a cheery voice then I would be seriously saying "bananas" in a scary voice.
4.) I'm a bit claustrophobic. Just a bit!
5.) I'm stiff boned. I don't dance really well. Literally.
6.) I keep my promises.
7.) I'm really stubborn. Once I set my mind on something, no turning back.
8.) Strawberry chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate...as long as it's a chocolate, I LOVE it!
9.) I have a wise, dry humored DAD; an amazing, loving MOM; Totally awesome elder SISTER; funny and talkative younger BROTHER; & super adorable BABY BRO! Sometimes they may drive me nuts, but I love them anyway.
10.) I just hope you enjoy what you see in my blog.

Thank you :)
